I would best describe my style as "Easy Breezy Beautiful"! Seriously though, my images reflect my love of clean composition, beautiful light, and helping you to look naturally gorgeous! I'll be there to capture everything and yet I hope you barely remember seeing me. There is a delicate balance of knowing when to stay back and capture the action that unfolds or when to step in and take advantage of magical light and situation.
I would love to discuss my rates with you! Seeing as that no two weddings are alike the best way to view at my pricing is by clicking on the CONTACT ME button and emailing me some details about your plans! If I am available on your date, I would be more than happy to email you my rates as well as chat about putting together a custom package that suits exactly what your wedding requires.
My calendar fills up quickly so you should plan to book about 3 months in advance. If you are planning on a shorter timeframe, please EMAIL ME to check availability!
I will travel anywhere in and around Mumbai! I do charge a small travel fee to cover weddings outside Mumbai.
We take 50% of the estimated cost as advance. Next 30 % of the amount must be cleared on the event day. The final 20 % must be paid once the images are ready for delivery.
Booking fees can be paid by cash or cheque.
Every wedding is different, but in general I usually begin my coverage around 2 hours before your ceremony with the bride’s preparations.
Yes. If you are having a destination wedding, you could take me along and I will document the whole thing. Expenses for travel, food and accommodation are to be borne by you.
My typical wedding day coverage is upto 12 hours – from morning preparations through until your seated for your dinner.
For most weddings, I work alone. Prior to your wedding we will run through the schedule for the day so I will be prepared and know exactly what needs to happen and when. I do work with a second photographer when it is needed. Please enquire for more details.
Yes, the images are your property and you can use them anywhere as long as you do not intend to use them for commercial benefit. As creative content creators, we will be using the images on our website and fan pages.
Each wedding is different, but normally you will receive between 400 to 600 photographs.
Yes. All the best of the best images are corrected for colour, balance & contrast. Further edits like cropping, removal of unwanted things and black & white / sepia / vintage filters are also applied to selected images. All our images are captured digital in colour RAW format. This format allows us to easily change any photograph from colour to black & white. I make a judgement call on which photographs will look better in colour or black & white and this is what you will see.
No. We edit out all the unwanted photos (ie. eyes closed, blurred focus, subject not looking…) leaving you with the best of the best. Karan Shetty Photography does not give the RAW files of the photos and videos taken at the event. Please refer to this link for a detailed explanation on this. Why Don't Photographers Give Raw Photos to Clients?
I usually like to get the group & family photographs taken as soon after your ceremony as possible and can have these done in 20 minutes. These photos are very important to your day, but don’t need to take a large portion of your day to complete them.
Yes! All our packages include digital copies of your photographs in high resolution format without any watermarking. Images are available on a USB drive.
Yep! All the images are yours to do what you wish with!
Yes, we do provide wedding albums.
Once you have chosen your photographs for your album & approved the designs, delivery time is around 2-3 weeks.
We know what you mean. We hate posing for pictures too! Posing isn’t natural and we don’t think it looks natural either. Our style is all about capturing the REAL you and the JOY of your wedding day.
We do take traditional family pictures in addition to our more lifestyle documentary style.Since each wedding is unique, we decide, in discussion with you, how much time is spent on traditional groups.
